Normal versus cozy eating places in Singapore

Food outlets in any city come under three categories, cheap, normal and cozy or expensive.  Cheap food is available in any great city and in Singapore as well, but one has to eat perched on uncomfortable plastic chairs or on stools or standing by the side of a crowded road.  Normal dining place is a notch higher, but it is still crowded, and the tables jostle with each other, leaving little room for you or waiters to squeeze through, but still the food is great and the when the bill comes it is a little light on your pocket.  However, on a special occasion it is good to select a cozy dining place in Singapore, with great ambience, luxurious surrounding and well mannered service staff.  Though, the bill when it comes is likely to blow a hole in your pocket.
 
You may ask why you have to select Spanish food and nice ambience for dinner in Singapore when you very easily select great dining place with a fraction of the cost.  The answer depends on the occasion, are you going to pop a romantic question to your only love, or are you going to show a appreciation to a friend or are you celebrating an important anniversary, you cannot do it in a crowded space with waiters jostling by and dinners sitting with little or no distance from you and listening to each word you utter. Compared to the cheerful hustle and bustle of normal dining place one needs a private space, candle light and great food  to pop that important question.

You can say that one can still propose in the middle of a crowded market food stall after love is not about place, but if one wants the moment to linger on as memory for a lifetime then it is best to select the privacy of a good ambience and cozy atmosphere of a good dining place.
